Elevation Fitness

This gym is clean and the equipment is new. However, management does not care about being honorable and respectable business owners. I cancelled my membership in writing in March of 2012, though they continued to bill me through September of 2012. When I called to inquire, they told me they never had paperwork for my cancellation and that I would have to resubmit it in writing. I filled out the paperwork, and sent it back with a request for a refund for the previous months' wrongfully collected membership dues. I also did NOT check the box on the paperwork authorizing them to collect an additional month's dues from me. They charged my account without authorization again yesterday. I called to ask for a refund and was told that it was policy and it didn't matter to him (Clay). I have called my bank and started the process of disputing their claim and filed a claim with the better business bureau. Clay does not care about you as a client. He does not care about anything but collecting your money. They don't secure their paperwork (or else why would my initial cancellation have been lost?), so ask yourself if you really want this clown in possession of your personally identifying information. Do NOT go to this gym. Do NOT be lured by their cheap membership. You WILL regret it.
